Tasha's earache ...

Our beloved STLMedia WatchDog has been afflicted for the past few weeks with an infected left ear.  She's been treated by the local vet with antibiotics and, initially, a steroid-based med, but that ended when it obviously changed her behavior.  Steroids=NO GOOD.

We kept her on the basic antibiotics, avoiding steroid-based meds and invasive procedures, and had her examined weekly until yesterday, when the vet declared her clear of the infection.  We'll finish the course of meds (eardrops and pills) but it looks like GirlDog is well and healthy and hearing okay once again.
