Tell me the story again, Grampa Mike ...

Just for the heck of it, I've been Googling Classic and Urban Country formatted radio station streams and I've found a lot of 'em, mostly in small Western and Midwestern markets.  I like this one.

Oh, yeah, that's called Middle America, better known as Flyover Country.

Interesting listening.  In fact, just about any country music station that plays tunes from the BGB Era (before Garth Brooks) is okay by me.

What's even more interesting is that they all seemed to be owned by locals and they play a lot of commercials, and that would seem to indicate that the recession notwithstanding, they're making their way profitably in business.

Click here for a list of my favorite country music from the early '80's into the early '90's.  Toss in some of the tasties from the prior eras and you'd have a pretty good jukebox.
