Don Marsh in the hospital

Word is that the retired 23-year KTVI news anchor and current founding partner in the police training video company Line Of Duty has undergone multiple artery bypass surgery.

We're waiting for updates on his condition; any thoracic surgery is tough. But, Don, always remember that "Real men have bypasses; stents are for sissies."

The good news is that the procedure has been often done and improved in technique over the years (I had mine in 1996 and was in, repaired, rehabbed and back home in under five days).

You may also remember Don Marsh as the voice of the newsman in the opening scenes of Steven Seagal's movie Under Siege.
