So we stay inside and nudge the AC up so it'll be at least moderately comfortable.
Ameren/UE's poorly maintained system groans loudly under the extra load, gives it up and suddenly thousands are left in the lurch with no electric and no AC.
I know they had hundreds of fix-it guys standing by during the last round of severe thunderstorms...I hope they have their schedules set up the same way, 'cause this weekend's gonna be a killer.
