Not much goin' on in STLMedia this weekend ...

... but in Chicago Media, whew. This came in from several sources over the past week:

Ten year WGN vet Steve Cochran ran into the Randy Michaels whirling wall of talent death and got canned.  He spent some time with Chicago media writer Robert Feder.  You need to read this.  It's the next step in local radio, including STL.

And then Tribune honcho (and Satan lookalike)  Sam Zell says that the future of newspapers is delivery via PDF.

Umm...maybe ten years too late on that one, Sammy.
