If you could clear the decks at KTRS ...

... clear out current management and their overpaid brothers and children, toss the incestuous Cardinal's 50-50 deal out the window and hand it off to ESPN 101 and bring in new, live, STL-based and knowledgeable talent as needed, even using the occasional syndie show, what would you do?

Who would run the station overall?  Who would manage and critique the talent?  Who would do what dayparts?  Is news a big deal?  Sports if there is no baseball?  How many minutes-per-hour of spots?

How would you make KTRS the most compelling station in the market to listen to and so chew up the PPM numbers, which would require that the station be listened to EVERYWHERE!

How would you make KTRS a truly successful and locally-oriented radio station? It has a great signal and decent audio.  How would you make it a killer?

I mean, for as long as AM radio will be a contender...which will be as long as it takes to get 4G in cars.
