Jon Sinton was our Burkhart-Abrams Superstar format consultant at the Bill Rust-owned 100kw FM WRXL in Richmond VA. I met him a few times, but was especially impressed when I met him taking a nap on the couch in the FM PD's office. Travel wears a guy out, I guess. But back then, in the '80's, his share of the B/A $1300 a month fee should have kept him awake.
Some years later, Sinton wound up in charge of the late, unlamented AirAmerica radio net, proposed to send the liberal message across the nation.
As we've seen, this did not work as planned.
Sinton has a blog, and it explains everything.
