Pujols and Oquendo Pumped for Dixie Chicks Show
(St. Louis) Cardinals Albert Pujols and Jose Oquendo displayed how excited they are for the Dixie Chicks arrival in St. Louis next week by giving an impromptu exhibition of their country line-dancing skills for fans at Busch Stadium.
"The Boot-Scootin' Boogie, the Tush Push, the Hoedown Throwdown...Albert and I know them all," the popular third-base coach said. Added Pujols, "Many fangs are essited about da Eagles show, but Jose and I can't wait until da Dixie Chicks open da show witt Gooobye Earl so we cang dance."
"One of our biggest thrills was meeting Billy Ray Cyrus when he sang the national anthem here a few years back," Oquendo said. "We don't even talk to Jason LaRue anymore now that he cut off his mullet!"
The Dixie Chicks open for The Eagles next Thursday night at Busch Stadium. Twenty-three thousand terribly misguided music fans have purchased tickets thus far.
