Keepin' it dry ...

SilicaGel is what you need to keep stored with small metal parts and electronics from rusting.  You can reclaim silicagel packets from prescription drug bottles, or you can buy them here.   Cheap.  I just bought 250 grams, at one gram each packet, for around $40.

One or two packets inside each pouch containing gear should work nicely.
