Used it to watch the late news when I walked Conan (Dog #1 of 6 adopted older dogs over the years). It took me through many power-outs, too, back when local TV stations actually delivered local and immediate news.
The little guy became useless as a broadcast receiver last Summer when analog TV transmision went away. Rather than throw out the carcass of a dead electronic device, it will remain in my Museum of Useless Thingies (a box in the garage that includes 8-track tapes, an 8-track deck, cassette players/recorders and tapes and a Sony Mini-Disc player/recorder) as a memorial to the wit and wisdom of the FCC and the stupidity of the American consumer. Including me.
