Former co-owner of WHCO radio in Sparta IL Jack Scheper is in the hospital in serious but stable condition after suffering a major stroke.

For those who wish to send well wishes, he's in St. Joseph's West in Lake St. Louis MO.

Jack is the father of John Scheper, co-owner of Westplex 100.7 in Troy MO.

From T-Bone, WHCO Ops Mgr: The thoughts and prayers of all members of the Southern Illinois Radio Group are with Jack, John and the rest of the Scheper family. Jack just recently made the move to Troy, MO to be closer to his family and most of all his grandkids which mean the world to him.
