Effective October 26, there will be some staffing changes made to our morning news. John Knicely has been hired to co-anchor Awake with Virginia Kerr, and Robin Smith will be joining the morning team…handling breaking news and traffic information. John currently is working as a reporter at the CBS station in Dallas, and has previously been an anchor in Charlotte and Paducah (for those of you who have been around a while, his father worked at KTVI in the 1980’s). Marc Cox will be working dayside Monday through Friday as a reporter and fill-in anchor. Paul Cook’s last day doing morning traffic is tomorrow…he has decided to pursue other interests.
