More progress on the move to The Blog

1. As STLMedia enters its tenth year of service, all entries from 30 June 2009 back to 2003 are now in the Archive pages, which will be maintained on that website.

2. All new entries from 1 July 2009 forward are presented and archived month-by-month here. When appropriate, a link will be posted at the bottom of the entry that will direct you to the relevant area for discussion on the STLMedia Message Board.

3. All new entries from 1 July 2009 forward are available via RSS feeds and, when subscribed to (subs are free) in your RSS Reader/Aggregator (I use Bloglines), will show up there.

4. All new entries from 1 July 2009 forward will also show up (within the 140-character limit) if you follow my Twitter feed: @STLMedia. Links are presented there that will take you to the appropriate blog page.

5. I'm working on a minor revision of some of the Forums in the MB, deleting some which have attracted no traffic and combining others to eliminate redundancy.

6. For those of you under 40, born with a keyboard in your diapers and for whom this is all second nature, you will never know how much of an adventure accomplishing all this has been for this OldDog. I sincerely thank those of you who have offered assistance, suggestions and guidance while I hammered my way through it all.

7. Finally, I'm very proud to announce that my friend Frank Absher has agreed to join me as a co-author on the new blog. He'll be presenting commentaries and observations from his perspective as warranted.
