It appears that Disney would like to get out of their AM1260/Belleville deal, dumping the Disney radio format in STL.

It also appears Bob Romanik, the money guy behind the ownership of Oldies KZQZ AM/1430 and Country WXOZ AM/1510 is looking to buy it.

Recent rumors had Romanik in talks with Big League Broadcasting for one or more of their properties and selling or leasing his AM/1510 to an operator who will air a Mexican format.

It's likely Romanik has dropped out of the bidding for BLB's properties and that someone else, maybe someone locally or regionally, has entered the bidding.

AM/1510 may be a goner from the Romanik formatic stable, but his pitch for AM/1260 looks alive and well, and it may be the frequency to which he transfers his Classic Country format.
