Tasha's (almost) twin ...

Got an email from another ACD (cow dog) owner:  Hi Mike, while browsing pics of cattle dogs on Google, I happened to see a couple of your gal, Tasha. I was delighted to see that she looks almost exactly like my guy, Gryffin. Do you know if she's mixed with anything? I had always assumed that Gryff was a mix, so I just had to e-mail you and ask.

Gryff looks JUST like Tasha...the muzzle is a bit different (Tasha's is darker), Tasha is probably a couple years older (and certainly heavier), but both have mottling on their left forelegs and a similar (and very uncowdog) coat, smoother than most ACD's.  The light red coloring is also the same.

I'd love to know the heritage.
