Lots of television folks in our town need our thoughts this Thanksgiving. KSDK’s Leisa Zigman is ailing with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and has written on Facebook, that she will fight it with dignity and good spirits. Fox 2 anchor Shirley Washington is on sick leave after a collapsable large tent went flying during a report on the wind storms. It picked her up, threw her through the air and slammed her into the asphalt. Also at Fox 2 anchor April Simpson and reporter John Gadson are both on the mend following surgeries for brain tumors.
