Looks like Secret Squirrel blew it with his prediction that former Bonneville/STL programming wizard Jules Riley was headed back here from Philadelphia to take over Clear Channel's newly-minted The Sound and also Z-107.
Two other suggestions reach the same conclusion, it's a guy and he starts this week.
Word at CC is that Jules is NOT coming in. In fact, a man has been hired (don't know the name) but he starts Monday.
Holy crap! New PD at The Sound is a former River PD. He'll do both The Sound and Z. Never mind that he doesn't have lots of CHR experience, they want him for the Sound and because he might have a score to settle with stations that compete with it. Announcement Tuesday or Wednesday.
