So how you gonna spend this evening?

At home, warm and sober and safely away from the amateurs, or out at a party? 

I spent enough NYE's shaking hands and hugging drunks who paid way too much for watered down drinks  at radio station parties that I no longer want to be anywhere but tucked safely into the confines of my couch with Tasha and Mrs. A, watching insipid television celebrations of a non-event and taking phone calls from our kids who think it might be a good idea to check in with the old folks.

However you do it, many happy returns and have a wonderful 2010!
