Cumulus is coming to STL, buying the CBS cluster and KTRS. Through a deal weith the Cardinals brokered by CBS, Cumulus will buy the Cards half of the station and enojgh stock from thee shareholders to gain majority control of the station. Then they'll put the CBS Sports network on it and move some KMOX sports confolct games there. Evidently frank will be toast when all this happens.
Expect this to close some time in the first quarter, definitely before baseball season so the Cards can get out of the KTRS deal cleanly.
