Say goodbye to sports ...

The September 02, 2012 airing of the long running show Sports Plus on KSDK was it's last show. No announcement was made to the general staff nor to the public. On Wednesday, management informed the Sports Department of their decision to end the show. KSDK will now broadcast a one hour newscast with sport segments within that one hour. Higher ad rates can be charged for a "news" hour and KMOV is now doing something similar on Sunday nights. With football starting next week and causing a later newscast, will anyone really notice that Sports Plus is gone?
