I spent most of Thursday afternoon setting up, testing and retesting Bob Heil's PR40 microphone, my MXL MicMatePro and a copy of Total Recorder and, finally, recording copy for a client. Results were excellent, stored on the Lenovo laptop as MP3's and emailed to final production at the agency.

Then to the grocery. Now, a 20-pound Butterball is defrosting comfortably in the STLMedia Kelvinator and additional materials for side dishes are accumulating on sideboards and cabinet tops for the boatload we're expecting next Thursday.
