Fox News anchor Shepard Smith has reportedly put his 2,300 square foot downtown apartment on the market. Asking price: $4,000,000. Property records show Mister Smith acquired his 6-room Greenwich Village condo in May 2004 for $1,875,000 and listing information indicates the apartment measures 2,341 square feet, includes 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, and carries monthly maintenance/taxes/common charges that total a not-inconsiderable $3,331 per month.
And my place is around 2k square feet on maybe 1/2 acre. I guess being stupid has been berry, berry good to young Shep. But of course, he lives in Greenwich Village and I live in Maryland Heights. As Mama Gump almost said, "Stupid is as stupid pays."
