UPDATE: I spoke with Stel Thursday PM and his spirits seem to be high as he recuperates from surgery repairing damage to his foot. He's also on a regimen of antibiotic medications to eliminate an infection that's cropped up in the fractured toes. Stel says he hopes to be able to go home by early next week.
