Had to trash the box, drill out the HD. The counterfeit Windows 7 software Mr. Batchelor sold me (and, to his honor, refunded the fee for) tied the Toshiba OS and RAM in so many knots it was completely useless.
Mrs A bought me a new Lenovo laptop, W7Professional, and I've spent the past few days tucking all the parts of the OS into place. Still have to post MSOffice.
