KTRS Announces Guest-Host Line-Up for the New JC Corcoran Show
JC Corcoran’s new radio show debuts on The Big 550 KTRS next Monday, October 25th at 10 am. In what’s affectionately being called the “Carousel of Co-Hosts,” the line-up features a different partner with JC each day.
Monday: Craig Hawksley…local comedian, actor and broadcaster…performed with Jay Leno, Jerry Seinfeld, Drew Carey and numerous others…toured with The Blue Collar Comedy Tour featuring Jeff Foxworthy, Bill Engvall & Ron White…former co-host of the KSHE morning show…currently adjunct professor at Webster University and Washington University teaching comedy writing and performance.
Tuesday: Eric Mink…former television critic for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch and the New York Daily News…has appeared on all three network evening newscasts as well as Nightline, Good Morning America and numerous network and cable channels…author of “This is Today: A Window On Our Times”…his columns and feature pieces have appeared everywhere from The New York Times to Time magazine…contributor to various shows on KSD, KMOX, KLOU & KIHT…currently teaching a film course at Webster University.
Wednesday: Gina Kurre, Laura Marshall & Victoria Babu…Gina is a seventeen-year veteran of local TV…anchored and reported for FOX2 and ABC30…four-time Emmy-winner…anchor of “Behind the Minds” on HEC. Laura is an eight-year voiceover talent and broadcast veteran with on-air work at Y98 and KEZK…classically trained in Vocal Performance…graduated with honors from the University of Kansas. Victoria currently serves as KTRS news director…hosted various programs at KMOX, Y98 and KETC Channel Nine…three-time Emmy winner…former co-host of FOX2 News in the Morning…motivational speaker and certified personal trainer…B.S. degree from SIU Carbondale…member of the Board of Directors of ALIVE, aiding victims of domestic abuse.
Thursday: Joe Marlotti…veteran stand-up comedian and actor…opened for Drew Carey, Larry the Cable Guy, Jake Johannsen and numerous others…has performed on Comedy Central…hosted the Midwest Emmy Awards…freelance writer for Creative Producers, Fleishman-Hillard and others.
Friday: Smash…twenty-two year local broadcasting and music icon…hosted shows on KSHE, KFTK, KLOU, KSD…former MTV Vee-Jay…singer and leader of The Smash Band since 1967…entertainment reporter FOX2…official voice of St. Louis Rams promos…sang and co-wrote “Gotta Go To Work”…one of the most prominent figures on the St. Louis area charitable scene with major fundraising roles in MDA, Children’s Hospital, Bikers for Babies, the Pujols Family Foundation and the American Diabetes Association.
Commenting on the new lineup, JC said, “This in not a ‘competition’. “I’ve simply asked a small group of my friends from various areas of the local media and entertainment industry to help me out while I try to determine what I want or what I need with this new show.” The rotating guest-host system will be in place until at least the end of the year.
Additionally, Bea Quinn, veteran sales and broadcast industry professional has been named as the show’s Producer. With over seventeen years of consumer marketing experience, Bea has a marketing degree from Webster University and has worked for Coca Cola, Centex Homes and Emmis Broadcasting. She’s a member of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
