Been to a concert lately?

Nope, me neither.  Last live show I went to was as a guest in 1992 at what was then called RiverPort to see Jimmy Buffet.  Since then the only live show me and Mrs. A have seen was Jersey Boys at The Fox.

Ticket prices too high?  Service charges insulting?  Parking rates prohibitive? Well, there's all that.  But then there's the fact that there's just about no one we'd like to see perform live.  Sixty-somethings (even those who have a thirty-something mindset, like us) have a pretty short list of musical heroes.

Who's made this concert business too much to handle for Joe PotatoesJerry DelCollianio's column from last Wednesday lays it out.
