Technisonic done and done, all of a sudden ...

Word went around late yesterday that longtime full service production house Technisonic Studios, closed for good at 5 PM on ultra-short notice to employees.. I haven't seen this anywhere yet so it's yours to break and flesh out, unless I missed something. Website still functioning though their "news" section's most recent update was in March.

I have no information as to the reason for its demise--whether it's entirely due to a contraction in their industry, poor management, mass defections of key clients, or some credit issue. If it's telling on the state of such facilities (especially in St. Louis) in this rapidly changing media environment, it's a better story.
