This weekend, Ringo Starr of the Beatles (originally Richard Starkey) turns 70.
Infinite wealth and fame has fallen on this little Yasser Arrafat lookalike ever since his mediocre drumming and singing skills wound up as the tail-end of the most successful musical aggregation of all time when he could show up at a band practice and Pete Best could not.
"This Boy" and "Yellow Submarine" and "With A Little Help From My Friends" are his legacy, along with some solo albums and single hits.
And, of course, that he has remained married to actress Barbara Bach for all the years kinda counts into it, too.
And he had a painting of him made by 60's artist Peter Max. But who didn't?
