I believe I said this first ...

From TVNewser:

Megyn Kelly 'at the vanguard of a new generation of female TV news stars?'

By Kevin Allocca on Apr 28, 2010 12:57 PM

The Daily Beast's Rebecca Dana thinks so in her profile of the Fox News anchor in which Dana details how Kelly went from attorney to TV news personality. And FNC Senior VP Michael Clemente goes so far as to compare Kelly to ABC's Barbara Walters.

Kelly has been making the rounds of late, most notably appearing on both Howard Stern's radio show and "The View" last week. On Monday, she was also profiled in The Fresno Bee. (Another one: MommyTracked.com)

Variety's Cynthia Littleton made this observation in her own recent profile of Kelly:

Kelly is clearly getting a big push from Fox News as a next-generation star in the Shepard Smith mold -- an anchor with news cred who is less encumbered by the partisan tilt of other Fox News personalities.

Like her or not, Ms. Kelly is going to become a television giant.
